Ladies: 6 Reasons Why You Need to Check Out the Oakley Progression Session in Lake Louise

Listen up, ladies.

On April 4th and 5th, the final event in the Oakley Progression Session series will take place in Lake Louise, Alberta. I'm here to tell you, in 6 simple reasons, why you don't want to miss this event.

Because Other Ladies Who Snowsport Are Actually Pretty Cool

Raise your hand if you're the only girl in your usual mountain crew. Boys are fun to ride with, but riding with girls is a whole new experience, one well worth checking out. If you're worried that the other girls will be sissies, no need to fret: odds are, most of them will be just like you.

Because That Trick Isn't Going to Learn Itself

There's no doubt that tackling the park can be intimidating. Even when you know you have the skills to slay it, it's hard knowing where to start. That's what a coach is for. They'll teach you the mechanics, show you little tips to make it easier, and give you feedback on your performance. You could try to pick it up on your own-- but this way is faster, safer, and a heck of a lot easier.

Because the Coaches are Inspiring

Sessions are led by Oakley athletes-- and, come on, they're Oakley athletes for a reason. When else will you get a chance to ride with, and learn from, ladies of that caliber?

Because SWAG

Here's a promise: you won't leave empty handed. If the words custom goggle bar perk you up (yep, you get to pick your own colours), then just wait til you hear about the gift bags...

Because It's More Than Just Snowboarding

It's skiing, too-- but that's not what I meant. You'll get two full days of activities, including morning yoga sessions, afternono apres and an awards ceremony. It's like the world's best girl's weekend.

Because the Canadian Rockies are Rad

Here's an excuse to check out the Lake Louise Ski Resort and shred in the Canadian Rockies. They've received 40 cm in the past week-- if that doesn't get you excited, then maybe the five terrain parks will help.

Details on the Lake Louise event, including registration, can be found here. The cost for the weekend is $299-- not too bad, considering you get two full days on the mountain, professional coaching, two yoga classes, new goggles, and a ton more.

Psssttt ! Envoie-ça à ton ami!
