The concept is simple. 8 of the best backcountry skiers in the world had up until a few weeks ago to submit a 90-second part, all filmed this year in the backcountry. No rails or park jumps here, only giant backcountry booters, pillow fields and huge cliffs. Oh yeah, and a ton of POW!
This is a judged event, so the ultimate winner will be decided by a panel of experts but there is also a "People's Choice" award, which everyone has a say in. So get your butt over there and start casting votes!

A good place to start is the match-up of BC-boys Sean Petit vs Dane Tudor HERE. Dane has some sweet moves but must feel like David-vs-Goliath up against Petit and the Redbull-fuelled heli-accessed insaneness that Sean has submitted. (Interesting side-note, who did Sean Petit choose as a guide to bring him to the best heli-accessed stashes in the Whistler Backcountry? None other than snowboarder Shin Campos. Just saying!)
