Close to a month ago now, six teams of action-sport filmmakers took to the resort and backcountry of Whistler to film and edit a 5-7 minute film, all within 7 days, for the Intersection film competition of the World Ski & Snowboard Festival, which took place last week. In the end it was the Manboys who took home first place but another team was headed up by 33MAG Editor Brian Hockenstein and they gave the crowd quite the show. Over the coures of two days in the Whistler backcontry I was lucky enough to point my lens at some of the most talented and driven riders and filmers in the Sea to Sky area. Enjoy a quick look into some of the riding and good times had by all on these two sunny days in March.
