Coors Light Mountain Challenge – Recap & Photos – Day 1

The Coors Light Challenge is a snowboard filmmaking competition where teams of 2 – one rider and one filmer – have 72 hours days to film and edit a 3-minute shred edit, with the chance of winning part of the $10,000 cash prize purse. It's pretty simple:

For the fourth edition of the largest mountain film competition, there are both plenty of returning teams as well as fresh faces.

Most people also seem much more prepared this year, some even have scripts and shot-lists in hand. Costumes were seen in the park already as well.

New this year, the camera store Lozeau is on-site and will help participants by providing rental equipment, including a Sony FS 700! Lozeau will be hosting apres each day of the competition from  5-7 on the outdoor terrace at the foot of Mont Avila.
