Aftanas Surf Design presents The Option

The point of the Option was to create a board that would perform like a low volume short board while on rail but have more volume per inch.

It is a definite daily driver and if your budget dictates just one “all rounder” then the Option is the solution.

Rocker is kept to a minimum but is far from flat. Tail rocker has minimum curve from center, maintaining front foot drive, while curving the most through the last 12” of the board. Nose curves are minimal, accelerating in the last 12” – enough rocker to handle steeper waves and high speed bottom turns without compromising speed through the flats.
