There have been few transitions in surfboard design that have made surfing more fun than the shift to wider/shorter format boards. The sled falls into this vein of “new school” short boards and will keep you stoked from waist to well overhead. Hefty concaves run single through mid board and transition to subtle double. With a little extra foam and width in the plan shape of the Sled I had the freedom of increasing rocker curve, both nose and tail. The extra curve increases liveliness and a connected feeling to the wave.
