Man Films His Own Escape From Certain Death In A Himalayan Crevasse

Dr John All is a meteorologist who was conducting research near Mt Everest in the Nepalese Himalaya when he fell over 70 meters into a crevasse that he was not able to see until it was too late.

Since he had a camera and is apparently one of the most badass human beings alive, he decided to film part of his ordeal - despite multiple broken bones! Luckily he was able to climb back up to the surface on his own since from the looks of it no one knew where to film him.

His fall into the earth was halted by a lucky snowbridge. A few feet to the left and he would have tumbled a heck of a lot further and most likely suffered much worse injuries.

We salute this amazing man. Courage and determination is an amazing thing when the human body is in trouble. With multiple broken bones Dr All made it back to camp, where his friends and collegues were waiting for him for over 18 hours!

He said it best himself:

«It's amazing how broken a body can be and still be functioning»

Psssttt ! Envoie-ça à ton ami!
