Camp of Champs Week Three & Four: An Interns POV

Week 3 must have been insane because I don't remember much of it. It was like every other week, with the welcome meeting at the start and of course with all the pros in attendance. This week the Traveling Circus guys came out on the skiing side and from the snowboarding side we had teams from all over the place and of coarse the Norway homies, Torstein Horgmo along with friends Brage Richenberg and Jørn Simen Aabøe.

Campers stoked to start off the week!

I also got to go to Bounce which if you haven't heard of is an indoor trampoline park. They have this sweet new area as well that isn't open to the pubic yet which has a super trampoline. The thing is sick! Even just watching the pros attempt quads on it was sweet.

Welcome to the Super Trampoline

It was definitly a tiring week and I decided it was rest time before the big and final week. I took advantage of post shred naps and man was it worth it.  It felt like I was just getting use to things and then boom week 4 hit. It definitly started out with a bang. I drank coffee for the first time because I was tired of being tired, and I guess it worked cause that was also the day I landed my first backie. While at Camp of Champions you pretty much can't leave without doing one.

The next day I thought I would take advantage of coffee again however, this time right after I decided to fly my Quadcopter (a small RC heli that holds a camera) over the 7th Heaven ridge into Horseman glacier. This is where drinking coffee was a bad idea, not only was I nervous about flying the thing, my hands started shaking which made flying it terrifying as if it wasn't terifying enough watching my camera hover over a cliff. All was good though and even though I didn't get the shot I was looking for I had a pretty good landing without any damage done, a success within itself. You can click here to watch the footage.

And so it came, the last couple days at camp. Even though sleeping in my own bed at home sounded nice, I didn't want camp to end. I spent the last two days cramming as much footage and fun in the hours I had on glacier. The riders of course threw down and it was nothing but blue birds. I had such an awesome experience at camp, made tons of new friends, and have so many stories to share. I have a few more edits coming out for you guys that I'm excited to share and one even includes rap music with a bit of a twist, but thats a secret.

For now enjoy David Stanleys's banger edit of Camp C!
