Above the Wedge: An Ode To An Iconic Surf Spot

For those who don't know, The Wedge is an iconic surf spot in Newport Beach, California famous for it's waves perfect for surfing, bodyboarding and even skimboarding.

In fact, it's waves only exist courtesy of some construction way back in the '30s – and can reach up to 30 feet! Some construction changed the way the water flowed and created one of the most famous waves in the world.
