The Rumours Are True: éS Footwear is Back

Back in August, 2011, éS, a company under the umbrella of Sole-Tech out of southern California decided to take a hiatus from the skateboarding industry. The news of éS going under really crushed a lot of skateboarders and served as a wake-up call to many in the skateboarding industry. The reason for the hiatus was because of market-conditions in 2011. Shoes were still available until spring 2012.

Sole-Technology stated that the main upside to putting the brand on hiatus was the ability to focus on other Sole-Technology brands (Etnies, Altamont, Emerica, and ThirtyTwo).

Not many people believed that éS would ever make the comeback, but starting February 14th, 2014 éS will be available in select skate shops across the United States with three new shoes. 

The comeback is real ladies and gents. All hail skater-owned brands.
