Canadian Snowboarder/BASE Jumper Braden Dean Launches New Web Series « Adventure Capital »

Whistler-based snowboarder Braden Dean has just launched a new web series over on EpicTV and we couldn't be more hyped! We got Braden to write up a few words about this episode and we'll be sure to bring you a ton of behind-the-scenes action from the series as Braden is a good friend of ours over here at 33MAG!

Braden:

As you probably know (from our last conversation on 33MAG) I started BASE jumping this summer, I logged about 100 jumps since the last snowboard season and thought the best way to answer everyones questions about what the experience was like was to make a little edit for a new (snowboarding) web series I am doing for Epic TV.

This episode tells the story of my introduction into a new sport and way of life! I met a lot of amazing people this summer and was incredibly lucky to have someone like Suz Graham take me under her wing (literally) and show me the ropes so I could progress safely.

Boy meets girl, girl teaches boy to BASE jump. Classic

In this episode you can see the progressions I made over the last 10 months, from skydiving, to my first BASE jumps at the bridge, jumping new more challenging objects such as cliffs and antenna's and finally my introduction to big wall tracking in Switzerland.

This is just the start of a long journey and I'm looking forward to more! The series will continue with more snowboard related content in ep. 2

Bombs away!

Enjoy!
