Two Planes Collide Mid Air and Nine People Survive By Jumping To Safety – AND IT’S ON VIDEO!!!

Oh my god. This is seriously one of the gnarliest and most amazing things that I think has every happened in the skies. Two planes collide in mid-air and like something straight out of a Bond movie, nine people survive two-planes colliding in the air by JUMPING OUT OF THE PLANE WITH PARACHUTES!!!

The long and the short of it is that two Cessna planes collided mid air as a crew of skydivers were preparing to jump out of one of the planes. All the skydivers eject the flaming wreckage and float to safely (while avoiding falling airplane parts!), the pilot of one plane manages to land his crippled craft while the other pilot also ejects the flaming (now one-winged) plane and uses an emergency 'chute to land safely.

WHAT?!?!?

I don't want to keep you from this any longer so please just check it out above.

"The images are heart-stopping: One Cessna suddenly sandwiched atop another; the legs of a jumper dangling over the tail of a plane; a skydiver hanging onto a step like an acrobat before he lets go; a fireball roaring out of one plane as it plunges. The thrill-seekers' helmets also filmed the miraculous aftermath of the crash: one by one, the jumpers landing on the ground, shaken but largely uninjured, and hopping into a truck to gather up the others.

All nine skydivers survived. The only person injured was the pilot of the Cessna that lost its wing. He had on an emergency parachute and escaped through an emergency chute and suffered cuts.

The pilot of the other plane was able to pull out of a dive and land at Richard I. Bong Airport in Douglas County."
