It's the morning of February 2nd, or a few days later more likely, and an Original Skateboards employee looks at his newsfeed and sees this video (or one of many remakes).
He surely missed the Original Skateboards banner hanging on the back wall, being way too preoccupied with the strange people "grinding" in their room. Over his shoulder, a colleague of his points out the banner. He goes to see his director of marketing, who quickly laughs and tells him to go back to work. That same man now goes home, where he's greeted by his kids who have been watching the 14 remakes of the Harlem Shake video all day, and he's sees the insane views they've been getting. Now, the next morning, he promptly heads back to the office, where he goes to visit the boss and, along with the help of some Original employees, pitches him their own version of the video on lunch hour that day.
Here's is the result:
Now, with the video quickly approaching 1 million views in five days, Original Skateboards. is my new favourite longboard brand.
Special mention to Pellep et Gab Roy who made this hilarious version in the Montreal Metro!
