If you don't know who Russell Winfield is you haven't been snowboarding long enough. Russell is a legend in his own right, riding for Ride throughout the 90s with his iconic pro-model and generally living the rockstar life that was common in the industry back in those days. The fact that he is still around and involved in the shred scene is a real testament to just how much he truly loves the shred.
Jamie Lynn on the other hand… well, if you don't know who he is you're an idiot and need to go do your homework (talking to the snowboarders here, everyone else can just ignore my self-richeous ramblings). He is one of the forefathers of not only modern snowboarding, but of freestyle riding and the idea that style is above all else. Without Jamie and his band of shit-disturbing 90s-era pro shred, our dear sport may have become a completely different beast (see: skiing, circa forever until very recently). In addition to all that, his contributions to the art scene and his iconic Lib Tech graphics such as the "blue cat" have also left an indelible mark on the snowboard world.
In this series, Russell catches up with Jamie on his farm and has some seriously frank talks about his life, thoughts and experiences and if nothing else, give us a really intimate portrait of a man who can easily become a mythical figure in anyone's mind. It's great to see to legends working together, and with the exception of some over-the-top extreme camera shake in some of the episodes, this is an amazing watch.
