I'm a bit late on posting this because I waited about a week until I had the time to really watch and proper absorb this awesome 11-minute short film, and boy am I glad I did. Rhuter begins the next phase of his unbelievable camera-truck adventure, an attempt to capture the essence of the USA in large format wet-plate photography, and in the process comes across a skater named Oscar who's story has to be seen to be believed.
As much fun as it is to be immersed in the world of snowboarding full-time, it's inspiring to see a top level photographer such as Ian Rhuter move away from action sports and begin the next phase of his career, and life. And boy, what an amazing phase this is shaping up to be.
